Steering wheel squeaking, after a sudden thudding sound
Several days ago during driving, there was a sudden thudding sound while I was turning the steering wheel. After that, the steering wheel became a bit difficult to use. My steering wheel squeaks when turning left

Steering wheel does not center
ANSWER : The problem to me sounds like you have worn out bushings that hold the power steering rack and pinion assembly. This is why your steering wheel gets off center in the direction of the turn. Problem with steering on one side only.
