I have looked online and this seems to be a pretty common problem. There are a couple things you can try: resetting the infotainment system to the default settings and rebooting the system. The latter is the recommended and it is performed by pressing and holding the audio button until the dialog box appears. It seems as though this is a bug in the software, straight from the factory. You might also contact your local Honda dealer to see if they have a software update available to fix the problem.

My 2003 ford explorer wont start up just get click click click click click click click click
ANSWER : If the battery is weak and the voltage is dropping to below 9 volts you will get the clicking without the starter turning the motor. Have the battery voltage checked and if battery cannot hold a load then replace it and clean the battery terminals and recheck system to see if it starts.

Metallic click sound when putting car in drive or reverse from park, and another click (sometimes) when making a turn.
ANSWER : You may have damaged the axle or strut. I would have the entire front inspected and have the clicking diagnosed. When anyone hits something hard enough to pop a tire there is most likely damage to some component in the area where it was hit. A visual inspection may or may not identify the problem, but a good mechanic can road test and hear the sound and should be able to pinpoint the cause of the clicking noise and recommend a repair.

Rear battery isn’t charging.
ANSWER : If you had the key on for an extended period of time without the engine running, you may have run the accessory battery down. It really should last longer than a car wash though, so maybe it needs replacing. Your car has high-output alternator and a power management module that decides where to draw the power and where to send the charging voltage according to need. So if everything in the system is working, the battery really should be able to hold up for a few hours. When the battery voltage gets really low, things just start to go haywire and the car may start to act as though it was haunted. By contacting Your Mechanic, you can have a technician come to your home or office to check out your Mercedes and let you know it you need a battery replacement or other charging system service.

Try removing the battery cables (+) and (-) for 13 minutes. During that time, put the original key in the ignition and turn it on. Activate everything in the car even though there is no power. Then remove the key and hook up the battery cables. The computer should have reset and reset the security. If the security is still being tripped, then I recommend seeking out a professional, such as one from Your Mechanic, to help you

cx-9 phone button bluetooth no working
ANSWER : Unfortunately, if you have tampered with the bluetooth system, it would be very difficult to determine what could be causing this issue without knowing what you did previously. The only recommendation that I have is to check behind the radio unit for unplugged wiring harnesses (if you remember pulling the radio out) or check under the dash for the same. If you do not find any unplugged harnesses, check your owner’s manual as it may explain how to disable/enable the bluetooth system. If all else fails, I would recommend taking it to your local Mazda dealer as they likely have an efficient way of testing their radio units for proper function.

what does the clicking sound indicate when my car wont start
ANSWER : There are a variety of clicks you might hear when the car fails to start. Gentle clicks from under the dashboard mean the relays are activating, but the starter is not working. A strong tap from under the hood might be the starter solenoid engaging, but there not being enough power to drive the starter. Sometimes the starter may give a rapid tap tap tapping if it is trying to engage, but the battery is not strong enough. In your case, it may be that your charging system has failed and you have been running on the battery. It doesn’t take nearly as much power to operate the lights as it does the starter, so it’s a possibility that is all the trouble you have. You can find out for sure by contacting Your Mechanic. They can send a technician to your home or office to check out your starting problem and let you know what it will take to solve it.

My theft system is keeping my car from starting in my 1994 Cadillac Deville
ANSWER : Hello. If the theft light is coming on then it is causing the vehicle not to start. Most of the time the issue is caused by either the key failing or the key sensor located in the key lock cylinder. There is a small chip in the key that provides resistance value to the computer to tell it that the correct key is being used. If there was a spare key I would see if that works. If it does not then it is the sensor in the key lock cylinder. Most of the time the wires from the key lock cylinder break and cause this. It can also be caused by the theft module but that is not as common.
