In a keyless entry car, can you also have an alarm say auto watch alarm system installed?

I have a key less entry Subaru 2008 model Impreza.
It also has an auto watch alarm system installed, it works good, but when i lock the car using the auto watch alarm remote (still having the key less entry remote in hand) and i go away from the car, then i come back to the car with the (still having the key less entry remote in hand) the center light in the car comes on and if i don't unlock the car the auto watch alarm siren goes on.

So every time i am next to the car having both remotes with me, the center light turns on and the auto watch alarm siren goes on.

Experienced mechanics share their insights in answering this question :
Hello. From what you describe it would appear that the aftermarket alarm system may be having an issue. If the alarm has done this since it was installed then it may be possible that it is wired improperly, or that there is an issue with the alarm system control module. It may be possible that the two alarm systems are interfering with each other somehow, perhaps due to an issue with the transponders or remotes. I would recommend referring to the alarm system manufacturer, or the shop or technician that installed the alarm for more specific support or instructions.

How to Identify and Fix Common car Problems ?

The alarm is the horn honking and turn signal lights flashing if someone attempts to start the car, or with the perimeter/shock sensor upgrade if they break into or impact the car. The alarm can be armed and disarmed with the remote transmitter. It does not operate when the key is inserted into the ignition switch.
One of the most common causes is an entry key fob with a low or dead battery. Key fob batteries can go flat after long periods of use. If that happens, the fob might not be able to send signals correctly, which can cause the alarm to sound.
If your key fob (or remote key) is faulty, your car alarm may go off when you unlock your car. The key fob will deactivate the alarm system when you press the unlock key, however, if the remote is faulty or the battery is dead, the alarm may stay on, and when you then open your car door the car alarm will sound.
Your Subaru alarm won`t set for a few minutes. So, to disable it for the front door, use your valet key to unlock it. To do this, insert the key into the keyhole found on the driver side door. Once inserted, turn the key to the right – you will feel when it unlocks.
Check The Fob And Owner`s Manual

If you have bought your car used, there`s a pretty easy way to check if your vehicle came with a car alarm installed: check the owner`s manual and look at the key-fob. Your vehicle`s manual is a great resource for finding out if the car came with an alarm.

When an active alarm is set off, it usually makes the horn of the vehicle sound and the lights flash until it is deactivated with the key fob or the ignition key. Some vehicles only have this feature on the driver`s door, while other systems alert if any door or the trunk is opened.
You probably have a theft prevention button that`s turned on in the vehicle so when you open a door it will go off or if you don`t have one then if you are in a turned off car on the inside and you hit the unlock button from the inside then it will go off once you open the door because its to prevent theft.
There are simple instructions if you want to know how to disable a car alarm permanently. You should just unlock the door, start the car, remove the fuse, or disconnect the battery of the car. When working with electronics, it`s crucial that you guard yourself against injury.
A car alarm will go off if any activity occurs in or around the car. They can go off upon the touch of a stranger, the tripping of a sensor, the dying of the battery, or the opening of a door, among other things. Bumps or vibrations can trigger your car alarm.
What triggers a car alarm? Car alarms feature sensors that trigger the alarm when motion or impacts are detected. Vibrations, bumps or movement typically trigger the sensors.
A faulty sensor, wiring, or control module can cause a malfunction. Key fob interference: Sometimes, interference from other electronic devices such as smartphones or other key fobs can cause your car alarm to go off. Attempted break-in: If someone is trying to break into your car, the alarm system may go off.

Keyless Entry Security system problem
ANSWER : Hi, thanks for writing in. This is likely related to the anti-theft system in the car going into safe mode. This can be caused for a variety of reasons such as dead or weak battery or a short in the theft system. My theft system is keeping my car from starting in my 1994 Cadillac Deville
ANSWER : Hello. If the theft light is coming on then it is causing the vehicle not to start. Most of the time the issue is caused by either the key failing or the key sensor located in the key lock cylinder. There is a small chip in the key that provides resistance value to the computer to tell it that the correct key is being used. If there was a spare key I would see if that works. If it does not then it is the sensor in the key lock cylinder. Most of the time the wires from the key lock cylinder break and cause this. It can also be caused by the theft module but that is not as common. aftermarket remote engine start alarm system in car causing fuses to blow
ANSWER : In this situation, I can only provide my best guess as to what is going on. Without knowing where and how Circuit City hooked up the remote start and what model was used, this is the best answer I can provide. Given that the fuses started to blow after the remote start installation, I would guess that yes this was the cause. Replacing the fuses is a band aid to the problem and it most likely will not be a permanent solution until the fault that caused them to blow is resolved. Depending on what power source the remote start system has installed, it can overtax the circuit and cause fuses to blow. A qualified technician, such as one from YourMechanic, will be able to perform an electrical inspection and replace any fuses as needed.
