How do I delete contacts in the hands-free system?
ANSWER : One of the best things about your car’s hands-free system is the ability to store phone numbers and entire phone books in the system’s memory. However, you’ll eventually find that you need to remove some of those contacts. You may even need to delete an entire phonebook. Here’s how to do both:

Deleting a Single Contact: To delete a single contact, find delete contacts in the phone menu. Press the tuner knob button. Choose the number you want to delete and then press the tuner knob button again. Press yes to confirm and the number will be deleted.
Deleting All Contacts: To delete all contacts in the phone book, choose all delete rather than delete contacts. Press tuner knob button and then press yes to confirm. After pressing yes, all the contacts will be deleted.
Deleting a Phonebook: To delete a different phonebook, choose delete other PB from the menu. Press the tuner knob button. Cycle through the phonebooks stored in the system and choose the one you want to delete. Press the tuner knob button and then the yes button to confirm. The entire phonebook will be deleted.

Service ABS System, Traction Control System and Service Stability System
ANSWER : Hello. These systems are interconnected, since both of them can control individual wheel brake functions when operating. It is likely that one of the speed sensors are failing. To have this verified, have a qualified professional, like one from YourMechanic, diagnose the warning lights, pinpoint the fault(s), and make necessary repairs.

ANSWER : Hi there, thanks for writing in.

It sounds like you are having a serious electrical malfunction, which is very hard to diagnose without being able to look at the car first hand. The first step to diagnosing your electrical issue would be to scan all the relevant control modules in the vehicle, to see if there are any faults relating to any of these issues. It sounds like somebody at the dealer has been trying to fix this problem, so it may be a more involved one. I have personally seen failed control modules cause things like this, but that is no guarantee that it’s the problem in your case. It would be best to have a qualified independent technician, such as one from YourMechanic, look at your car to diagnose your electrical problem.

Intermittent random faults showing up on dash and I drive system. One at a time. Mainly transmission error and lighting system err
ANSWER : Hello. When it comes to power issues while driving, it is typically related to the charging system in some way. A miscommunication with the battery would effect the performance. Before getting too technical, start with the simple stuff. Check the alternator output with a voltmeter, or have it tested at your local automotive store. If both the battery and the alternator are in good working condition, then you can turn your attention to a control module or a programming issue. The warning codes that are being triggered should be read and used to help in the diagnosis. If several different systems are failing, you will likely have a charging system error, or a malfunctioning control module. Further testing is needed.

My delete phone option or system clear button to remove my phone from the Bluetooth in the car isn’t lit up like I can’t click it.
ANSWER : I have looked online and this seems to be a pretty common problem. There are a couple things you can try: resetting the infotainment system to the default settings and rebooting the system. The latter is the recommended and it is performed by pressing and holding the audio button until the dialog box appears. It seems as though this is a bug in the software, straight from the factory. You might also contact your local Honda dealer to see if they have a software update available to fix the problem.

How do I delete or edit the contacts in the Uconnect phonebook?
ANSWER : Deleting or editing contacts in your Uconnect phonebook is easy.

If you are editing a contact, press the Uconnect phone button, which is a telephone symbol on either the center console or the steering wheel. The system will say “Ready” and beep, at which point you should say “Phonebook edit entry.” You will then be prompted to name the entry and the designation (home, work, mobile, or other), and then you can edit the information.
If you are deleting a contact, press the Uconnect phone button, and when prompted, say “Phonebook delete”. After the prompt, list the contact you wish to delete, or say “List names” to hear your contact list and choose a contact to delete. If you choose to hear the list of names, then press the Uconnect voice command button when you hear the name you wish to delete, and say “Delete”.
If you wish to delete all of the contacts in your Uconnect phonebook, press the Uconnect phone button, and when prompted, say “Phonebook erase all.” Then follow the prompts to confirm this action.

Tip

You can only edit or delete contacts that have been manually entered into your Uconnect phonebook. Contacts that have been automatically downloaded cannot be edited or deleted through the Uconnect system.
