i was just looking and seen my car is up for recall with the issue I'm having problem with. Do I still have to pay for this and where do i go to fix this

My car has 134000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.

Steering column was replaced because of a recall, but it is not working again!!
ANSWER : There are different recalls that may pertain to this vehicle. There are recalls for steering sensors and shafts. You may want to call another local GM dealer and have them run your VIN number to check for open recalls for the vehicle. Fuel filter location – 2006 Ford FOCUS (South Africa model)
ANSWER : Hi there – your mechanic was being straight with you. The fuel filter is attached to the fuel tank on the S. African models, with a seal in between the filter and tank. Getting a proper fit on re-assembly in the field is problematic, and it is hard to get them to seal properly. They are a mechanics headache! (N. American models have the filter just in front of the tank – different crash requirements.)

You may need to do some swapping with oil pan and oil pickup, exhaust manifolds, intake, etc. in order to have all the right bits pointed in the right place for your Charger. You may have to take some extra steps to get the electronics (engine and transmission control units) happy if the transmissions are different from the donor vs your Charger. Should be do-able though.
