Hello, and thank you for writing in. The vehicle’s call lists are only available when the phone is linked to the vehicle, so make sure you phone is within blue tooth range. Secondly the "call history" is often labeled as "call lists". From there you have to select what type of call you want to delete (aka "incoming", "outgoing", or "missed"). The last option is to clear them all. Your owner’s manual should have more information on this. You can also disconnect the feature that uploads contacts and call history records from the vehicle altogether. For more help, contact our service department to schedule an appointment.

I can’t find the right alternator for my Mercedes-Benz. 2003 Mercedes SL500
ANSWER : Hello – any of the MB parts sites selling a "12v, 150 amp" alternator that fits your SL500 is selling the correct specification alternator. Your cars electrical system is nominally 12 volts. The voltage regulator within the alternator allows the alternator to charge at up to 14 volts in order to bring the battery back up to at least 12 volts. While cranking for example, system voltage can drop to 10 volts or so. The difference in "system voltage vs charging voltage" is a bit confusing, but hopefully, this has helped your understanding. If not, shoot any other questions our way.

ANSWER : Hi there. The best thing to do is locate a 2007 GMC 1500 Sierra that has a complete A/C system and take pictures of the entire system. Then you can go and buy all of the parts needed to install the complete A/C system. If you are wanting a way to install the parts with a catalog, then you can visit LMC TRUCK which will have all the part numbers and the parts to order or cross reference to buy for your A/C system. If you need further assistance with installing the A/C system, then I recommend seeking out a local technician to help you with this installation.

Intermittent random faults showing up on dash and I drive system. One at a time. Mainly transmission error and lighting system err
ANSWER : Hello. When it comes to power issues while driving, it is typically related to the charging system in some way. A miscommunication with the battery would effect the performance. Before getting too technical, start with the simple stuff. Check the alternator output with a voltmeter, or have it tested at your local automotive store. If both the battery and the alternator are in good working condition, then you can turn your attention to a control module or a programming issue. The warning codes that are being triggered should be read and used to help in the diagnosis. If several different systems are failing, you will likely have a charging system error, or a malfunctioning control module. Further testing is needed.

check break system and indicators of side brake, doors open, and traction system and full light warning in dash board
ANSWER : Hi there, thanks for writing in.

It sounds like you are having a serious electrical malfunction, which is very hard to diagnose without being able to look at the car first hand. The first step to diagnosing your electrical issue would be to scan all the relevant control modules in the vehicle, to see if there are any faults relating to any of these issues. It sounds like somebody at the dealer has been trying to fix this problem, so it may be a more involved one. I have personally seen failed control modules cause things like this, but that is no guarantee that it’s the problem in your case. It would be best to have a qualified independent technician, such as one from YourMechanic, look at your car to diagnose your electrical problem.

Headlight leveling system on

If you are looking to have this done, a certified mechanic from YourMechanic can come to your home or office to diagnose your headlight issue and make the necessary repairs for you.
