Can’t find Schrader valve

Trying to do a fuel pressure test but can't seem to find the schrader valve. Do this vehicle have one?

My car has an automatic transmission.

Experienced mechanics share their insights in answering this question :
Hi there. Many Asian manufacturers do not use the valve in their fuel systems. They have opted to not include this as it presents a fire hazard should the valve fail. A proper fuel pressure test requires other adapters that typically have to be installed inline. What are your concerns for needing to test the fuel pressure? Do you have a no start concern? Drivability concern? Your Mechanic has a team of highly qualified and experienced technicians that can assist you with an inspection.

How to Identify and Fix Common car Problems ?

The simplest way is to just listen for the hum of the fuel pump when you first turn your car on. You can also use an OBD II scanner. Testing your fuel pressure without a gauge is always going to be a bit imprecise and you should get a gauge as soon as it`s convenient.
The Schrader valve (also called American valve) is a type of pneumatic tire valve used on virtually every motor vehicle in the world today.
Schrader tires valves are the most common valve stems found on bicycles and car tires. The most recognizable of the bunch, sometimes they are referred to as standard valves.
Most fuel pumps contain the following: Check Valve: The valve, usually located at the top of the fuel pump, holds the pressure after the engine is shut off so the engine starts quickly the next time you go to start your vehicle.

The Schrader valve is a pneumatic (containing pressurised air or gas) tyre valve found on almost all motorised vehicles including cars, motorcycles, and tractors. On bikes, Schrader valves are most often found on low-end hybrid bikes, mountain bikes, and kids` bikes.
Schrader valves use a shell and a pin or spring to keep air pressure in or out. In an HVAC setting, Schrader valves keep air out of the refrigerant lines in AC units. If refrigerant is leaking from your AC unit, your Schrader valve might be broken.

Please help me figure out where my PCV valve and PCV Hose is!!!
ANSWER : Hi there. The PCV valve is located on bank 1; the valve cover closest to the cabin. It is usually found under the intake plenum towards the passenger side of the vehicle. The hose will be attached; or loose. Please understand that a code retrieval and an internet search is not a proper diagnosis as there are several other possibilities that can cause the code to set. Some of the possible causes could be spark plugs, ignition coils, intake manifold leaks, intake plenum leaks, vacuum hose leaks, failing airflow meter, failing O2 sensors, exhaust manifold leaks, low fuel pressure, failing ECU, faulty wiring harness, failing injectors, etc… As you can see, the list of possibilities runs on and on. This is where the expertise and experience of a qualified technician with the proper diagnostic tools and procedures becomes invaluable. I strongly suggest having a qualified technician perform an inspection to avoid replacing unnecessary parts and determine the exact cause of the code. 2012 chevy cruze lt 1.4 valve cover vacuum leak. waiting on parts in the mail.
ANSWER : It is possible to temporarily seal air (vacuum leaks). Any method that best creates a seal can be used. In particular, RTV sealant which is flowable can be used to seal a non moving crack so long as the surface that you are applying the RTV to is oil and dirt free (otherwise the RTV wont bond). The only concern with such temporary (or even permanent) repairs is that you do not get any foreign matter in the engine through any crack that you are trying to seal. If you want the PCV valve and/or the valve cover replaced you can request PCV/valve cover replacement service and the responding certified mechanic will get this taken care of. If you have further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to re-contact YourMechanic as we are always here to help you.
