NGK builds two types of iridium spark plugs: OE Iridium and Iridium IX®. Every plug in the Laser Series was designed for an OEM application. All dual precious metal plugs are designed to provide maximum longevity.
The number of cylinders in your vehicle will determine how many spark plugs you`ll need to replace. The average vehicle has 4 spark plugs. However, 6-cylinders have 6 spark plugs, and 8-cylinder engines will have 8 spark plugs.
NISSAN and INFINITI OEM Genuine Spark Plugs. These are NGK plugs. PLEASE CHECK OWNERS MANUAL OR ENGINE LABEL (IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT) FOR CORRECT SPARK PLUG TYPE.
The different types of spark plugs can seem overwhelming at first, but the simple way to find out what kind of spark plug you need is by checking your owner`s manual. The manual will specify the right plugs for your vehicle.
For some V6 engines (6 cylinder), the intake manifold has to be taken out to access the bad spark plug, taking the labor costs as high as $260-$320 for the vehicle. In total, spark plugs replacement can cost you anywhere from $100-$250 on the low end and $250-$500 on the high end (usually for a V6 engine).
How many spark plugs are in a V6? Each cylinder needs at least one spark plug to ignite fuel, so most V6`s have 6 spark plugs. Some engines use two spark plugs in each cylinder.
A spark plug usually lasts about 30,000 miles, but cleaning them and maintaining them periodically lets your engine perform better and increases your plugs` lifespan. If you see rust, carbon, gunk, dust, or any type of buildup during the inspection, it may be time to clean them.
Replacing worn spark plugs can greatly improve your engine`s performance and efficiency, and it can be done at home with basic hand tools. Recommended spark plug replacement intervals can range from 30,000 miles to every 100,000 miles, and they vary widely by car manufacturer and spark plug metal types and design.
Most spark plugs have a factory service interval of 100,000 miles, though some may be as much as 120,000 miles. Long-life platinum and iridium spark plugs will typically last up to 100,000 miles or longer provided the engine isn`t using oil or doesn`t spend a lot of time idling.
Ordinary copper and nickel spark plugs should be changed every 30,000 to 50,000 miles, unless otherwise suggested by the spark plug manufacturer. Platinum and iridium spark plugs tend to last longer than standard copper and nickel spark plugs. Expect to change them every 60,000 to 150,000 miles unless otherwise noted.
Platinum has better performance in terms of durability than other standard spark plugs. However, when compared with iridium, there`s a major difference. Iridium has better performance in igniting the air-fuel compression within the combustion chamber.
Not all iridium spark plugs are the long-life type, there are also some that have the same lifespan as a normal spark plug: 20,000 km (light automobiles: 10,000 km, motorcycles: 5,000 km).

Niterra Co., Ltd., formerly NGK Spark Plug Co., Ltd., is a public company established in 1936 and based in Nagoya, Japan. Niterra manufactures and sells spark plugs and related products for internal combustion engines, as well as sensors and ceramics for a wide range of applications under NGK and NTK brands.
While a typical iridium spark plug can last for 50,000-80,000 miles, manufacturers set different limits for these plugs based on driving conditions. For example, NGK`s Iridium IX spark plugs claim a 40,000-50,000 miles life expectancy on an unaltered motor.
It`s some of the easiest car maintenance you can do — but do not screw it up. Checking, replacing and maintaining your spark plugs is actually one of the easier and most affordable car-maintenance jobs you can do in the comfort of your own driveway — that is, if you don`t screw it up.

Car turn over won’t start have new battery starter and altinator and changed spark plug and spark plug wires and crankshaft sensor
ANSWER : Hi there. The first thing I would recommend would be to have a professional mechanic complete a digital scan of your ECU to see if there are any stored error codes that might pinpoint the source of your problem. However, one thing you might want to check yourself is the electrical harness connected to the crankshaft position sensor. In most cases, if this is diagnosed a being damaged, it’s actually the harness that is bad and needs to be replaced.

Spark Plug replacement
ANSWER : First of all I know the back three plugs are a pain. Replacing the front three are fine, except they will be more worn by the time you do the back three, which engine may not idle as smooth as you might expect.

Do you know the condition of the back plugs? If someone replaced the spark plugs previously, suppose they decided to do the same thing, that they will wait on replacing the back three plugs, but never got around to get it done.

I would recommend replacing all of the spark plugs along with new wires and applying a small amount of anti-seize to the spark plug threads. I do this for any vehicle that has dissimilar metal cylinder heads compared to the spark plug metal. It will help with removal the next time you replace the spark plugs again. If you do not know how or need help in replacing all of the spark plugs have a technician help you out.
