The vast majority of Nissan Patrols from 2006 have covered a lot more than 172,000km, so that`s definitely one thing in the vehicle`s favour. These seem to be a pretty good thing over time and kilometres as well, but there are still a few things to be wary of.
If you`re looking to buy a car, the Nissan Patrol Ti-L could be an excellent option for you. The 2022 Nissan Patrol Ti may be viewed from many different angles. Inside, it is dated, and the engine is getting older. However, it has good road manners and is quite handy as an off-road vehicle and people carrier.
Are Nissan Patrols reliable? Fundamentally, yes they are and the fact that they`ve been able to compete with the Toyota LandCruiser in this country is proof of that.
Equipped with a 5.6L V8 engine and off-road monitoring systems, you are ready to take on any terrain.
The New Nissan Patrol, the brand`s flagship SUV, has made a name for its premium and capable image. Its latest iteration is no different; the New Nissan Patrol is a luxurious yet powerful machine.

Carb not getting enough fuel I don’t see it in the window n I put new fuel pump n lines on and another carb on it but same proble
ANSWER : Hi there. Unfortunately, I think Jay is correct here. Usually when you see air bubbles in the filter, it’s due to a pick-up issue or debris in the fuel. If the gas tank is the original one from 1980, it is very likely that the tank is filled with excessive debris. You might want to drain the fuel tank, and inspect it for damage.

Engine swap details needed. I need to know if the swap will fit.
ANSWER : Hi there. When it comes to swapping engines for your vehicle, what you can do is check all of the engine mounts and transmission mounts and make sure that they will work. If the mounts are a little off but there is room, then you may have to retro fit a custom mount. Check the length of the engine and the transmission assembly together. Make sure that the assembly is the same length. It may be okay if it’s a few inches shorter or longer, however, it cannot exceed 3 inches or the assembly will not fit. There has to be room for the engine to move around. Also, keep in mind, the CV shafts may not match up to the transmission and wheel hubs, especially if the transmission is shorter or longer. If you need further assistance with swapping your engine with another engine, then seek out a professional, such as one from Your Mechanic, to help you.

I have replace serpentine belt , water pump , spark plugs n wires n it still makes a whining screeching noise when push on gas n k
ANSWER : Hi There,
It sounds like you may have a tensioner pulley that may have a bad bearing in it that is causing it to screech or squeal which is correlated to the engine RPM’s. The tensioner pulley has a bearing inside the roller that will fail over time producing this kind of screeching noise. This is not likely related to the fuel pump since the fuel pump is not affected by the change in engine RPM’s. I would suggest having a professional from YourMechanic come to your location to take a look at your vehicle.

Need to have transmission service on 2014 Nissan Sentra SV but would like to use only fluid manufactured by Nissan? How can I?
ANSWER : To answer your most important question first, you can absolutely specify that only genuine NIssan OEM dealer supplied transmission fluid (as well as any applicable filter) be used in your vehicle. Generally speaking, OEM parts are preferred and, in many cases, are the only way to avoid headaches. If you are providing the fluid, you can simply eliminate the "parts component" of the quote (there is a delete all parts option in the quote, leaving you only with labor charges). If you desire that YourMechanic procure the fluid, it might be easier to simply call in your service request and just make it clear on the phone that only OEM Nissan fluid is to be used. To obtain service, please call YourMechanic’s request for service line at 1-844-249-6752. If you have further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to re-contact YourMechanic as we are always here to help you.

The spark plug on my 2005 Nissan Altima on the first one has oil on it. How do I fix it. I need help how too fix it also.
ANSWER : If you are referring for the oil to be on the igniter portion of the spark plug inside the engine, then the oil control ring on the piston could be leaking, the head gasket could be burned and leaking oil into the cylinder, or the valve guide seals to the intake valve is leaking allowing the oil to be sucked into the cylinder. If the oil is on the top of the spark plug when the spark plug is installed, then the valve cover gasket is leaking. You would need to remove the valve cover and replace the gasket with new seals and use a pump to remove the oil from the spark plug and spark plug boot.

If you need further assistance with your cylinder 1 spark plug being coated in engine oil, then seek out a professional, such as one from Your Mechanic, to help you.

My car won’t go past 35mph
ANSWER : Hi there. From the description you provided, your vehicle has problems with the transmission again. You stated it will not shift into 3rd gear again, like before the transmission was rebuilt. If the transmission is again the problem, it should be covered under warranty. It could be a faulty shift solenoid. The shift indicator not reading properly could be a faulty transmission position sensor. If this is an overall lack of performance issue, according to your last statement, then possibly you have a restriction in the exhaust system. I recommend having your vehicle’s problems inspected and diagnosed by a certified technician from YourMechanic.
