Use an admin key.
Turn the ignition to on.
In the message center, press the Setup button.
Cycle through the options until you see “Reset for MyKey Settings” displayed.
Press the Reset button and you’ll enter the setup menu.
Cycle through the various optional settings and use the Reset button to toggle between on and off for each setting. Press the Setup button to move from one optional restriction to the next.
Tip
Setting restrictions imposes them on all MyKeys® programmed in the car.

Press the Setup button in the message center.
When you see “Press Reset to create MyKey,” press the Reset button again.
You’ll now see a message that reads, “Hold Reset to confirm MyKey.”

After two seconds, you’ll see a message that reads, “Mark this as restricted.”
Don’t do anything for a second or two and the message will change to, “Key restricted at next start.”
Your MyKey is now programmed and will be set up with the standard restrictions. Make sure you keep it separate from the regular keys to the car.
1. Press the Up/Down buttons on the steering wheel until Settings is displayed on the instrument panel, then press the OK button.
2. Press the Up/Down buttons until MyKey is displayed, then press the OK button.
3. Press the Up/Down buttons until Create MyKey is displayed, then press the OK button.
4. Press and hold the OK button to create a MyKey.
Turn your radio to the station that you would like to store as a favorite.
Press and hold one of the six numbered buttons on the infotainment center. Hold the button until you hear a beep.
That radio station is now saved as a favorite, and is accessible via the button you saved it on.
Press the Setup button until you see “Press Reset to Clear MyKey.”

Standard Restrictions
Audio muted until the Belt-Minder® alarm has gone off (ensures the driver is aware that a seat belt isn’t buckled).
Enhanced low fuel warnings include a chime, as well as an alert in the message center (activated at 75 miles to empty).
The car’s reverse sensing system is not able to be canceled.
Optional Restrictions
Maximum speed for the car is 80 MPH. Once that speed is reached, the system delivers both visual and audio warnings.
You can set speeds at which visual and audio warnings are delivered (choose from 45, 55, or 65 MPH).
The audio system cannot be turned up more than 45%.
The stability and traction control system cannot be turned off.

Standard restrictions apply to all MyKeys®. Optional restrictions can be changed during programming.
