My car has an automatic transmission.

Experienced mechanics share their insights in answering this question :
Traction control works by controlling throttle input and braking. If the road conditions are slippery and the system senses wheel spin, the electronics will either reduce the throttle input, apply brakes to individual or numerous wheels, or both. Traction control systems will have very little effect on the transmission function or life. In some instances like deep snow, it can be more beneficial to turn the system off and allow some wheel spin to get moving. However in normal driving, the system will have very little input or effect on your driving.

"Service 4WD" shows on the dash
ANSWER : Hi there. Check the harness wires from the transfer case to the output shaft speed sensor. See if the speed sensor wires are burned and shorted into the harness. This could cause the 4wd to engage when ever and at any speed. The wires could just be touching and not actually connecting until a bump hits them together. If the wiring is all good on the transmission and transfer case, then I suggest having the computer flashed (reprogrammed) to fix the 4wd issue. If you need further assistance troubleshooting your vehicle, then seek out a technician, such as one from YourMechanic, that can assist you with the 4×4 light.

While driving, hit start/stop button, instead of radio button
ANSWER : Not that I can find. The Start/Stop button, and how long it must be held to turn the engine off in an emergency is a hot topic. Requiring the driver to hold this button down for 3 seconds could be an eternity in a burning fire scenario. Turning the engine off on the slightest touch may cause the vehicle to stop in traffic when you actually just intended to adjust the radio as you describe. You may want to get in touch with a local Lexus or Toyota representative so that you voice this displeasure.

Which radio will work in my vehicle?
ANSWER : If you have a control knob on the console, you most likely have command. The most accurate way to determine if you have command is to call the dealership and give them your VIN. They can decode the vin and tell you what options your vehicle has. They will also be able to tell you if a new radio and NAV unit will need to be programmed for use in your particular vehicle. If you want other options, besides the factory unit, Crutchfield sells radios and installation kits for your vehicle. A local car audio shop can also provide you with different radio options and can install any radio you purchase. If you’d like a second opinion from a certified mechanic in person, consider YourMechanic, to diagnose the issue with your radio and suggest the best fix from there.

Cant find brake fitting for 1/4 line going into rear rubber line with tee.
ANSWER : Your best bet would be to have a professional perform the service for you since you are having so much trouble. These are the brake lines so you really want them done right the first time and a warranty in case something goes wrong and your pedal gets soft. The old fitting will need to be cut from the old line and placed on the new line and the new line flared as the vehicle is set up which may require that expensive tool. Consider hiring an experienced technician like one from YourMechanic who can help you avoid a tow fee and come out to take a closer look at the brake system damage to offer a more personal estimate on the repairs.
