Code P0400; EGR System
The code on my Nissan Altima is only the P0400 code. However, I have cleaned out the valve and when I suck on the vacuum tube, the piston moves up and down inside the valve. None of the hoses are damaged. I had all my hoses and pipes replaces after an oil leakage to ensure none of them would be disintegrated by the residue. I am trying to narrow down what I need fixed, hopefully without needing to pay a diagnostics fee. From the research I have done if the EGRC Solenoid Valve was needing to be replaced I would have a P1400 code, however, I only have the P0400 code. The other possible part that

If you checked the EGR valve and cleaned it, the first thing to do is to start and idle the engine and use a vacuum pump or source to pull open the EGR valve to see if it makes the engine run rough.
It should cause the engine to run rough if the passages are clear. In the EGR tube there is a temperature sensor that can be removed and cleaned of carbon. I had a p0405 get code replaced egr valve, map sensor,mad sensor, and PCv valve just to be safe but still getting the code why?
ANSWER : The code P0405 and a rough idle is most likely due to carbon getting into the EGR pintle. This will hold the EGR open. When you are getting the rough idle you should shut off engine and remove EGR valve. Check to see if carbon is holding the pintle open. If it is then you will have to remove the carbon from the pintle. Then try and clean out the EGR passages by scrapping them using a round wire brush. Afterwards, start the engine for a few seconds with valve removed to blow out loose carbon. You should then spray a small amount of carbon cleaner into the passages to dissolve the carbon. Lastly, reinstall the EGR and reset the light and codes.

I have a Code P0601 on the PCM. I replaced the PCM, and now I have a code P0118, code P0123, and code P0193.
ANSWER : Hi there, the short answer to your question is no . A PCM with a P0601 (which is a memory module error in the PCM) cannot reliably retrieve codes for the codes you list (P0118 – coolant temp sensor, P0123 – throttle position sensor, P0193 – fuel rail pressure sensor.
