Car shudder/vibrations when accelerate

Whenever I accelerate my car Audi a4 06 shudders & vibrates. Their isn't any noises, check engine light came on.

My car has 132000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Experienced mechanics share their insights in answering this question :
The first thing I would recommend is to have your vehicle scanned for trouble codes. When the check engine light comes on, this indicates that a trouble code has been stored. Once the trouble code has been determined, the repair procedure will be more clear. Some potential causes of this issue would be misfires, fuel delivery issues, or electrical issues. Only once the trouble codes have been pulled will this problem be narrowed down to exact parts/systems affected.

Any unusual shaking or vibrating forces coming from the engine is cause for concern. It could be something as simple as old spark plugs producing an uneven power delivery, it could be something serious like worn or broken engine mounts, or it could be even more serious in the case of internal engine damage.
The most likely cause of the shuddering most often happens in the vicinity of your car`s rims and tires. They plant your car to the road, and if anything is broken, will feel it. On a serious note, it may be a broken transmission mount or a broken caliper.
Usually, brakes or tires are to blame. If your car starts to shake at speeds over 50 mph, the shaking may be caused by tires that need to be rebalanced. Another possibility could be your tires may be wearing unevenly due to driving habits, rough patches on your daily commute, or even sticking brake calipers.
If the level of transmission fluid dips too low in your car, it might start shaking as you accelerate. While this is fairly easy to resolve, it needs to be tended to promptly. If there`s a leak and you continue driving with too little transmission fluid, it can permanently damage your car`s transmission.
Fuel injector nozzles can become clogged over time, which can lead to a sputtering engine, slow acceleration and the car not having enough power. Fuel injectors can be cleaned if the problem is caught early, but as the conditions worsens, the injectors may have to be replaced.
Dirty fuel injectors are among the most common reasons for why an accelerator becomes jerky. The dirty injector leads to your car losing power when you attempt to accelerate while at a stop and when you try to drive at a consistent speed. This is the result of an engine misfire.
an involuntary vibration (as if from illness or fear) synonyms: tremor. type of: quiver, quivering, vibration.
There are a few reasons your car may shake when accelerating but not coasting. The most common reason is that the engine is misfiring. When the engine misfires, it doesn`t run as smoothly as it should and can cause the car to shake. Another possible reason is that the spark plugs or ignition coils are dirty or damaged.

My car started idleing rough, vibrations soon as start car, vibrations soon as I accelerate, vibrations, rough idle bad
ANSWER : This sound like you may be having an engine misfire. Have the system checked and scanned to see if codes are present for an engine misfire. If it is, then a mechanic can check to see if a coil or spark plug has failed. You may have oil leaks in the valve cover seals that has caused the ignition to short out in the spark plug holes. A repair of your valve cover gaskets may be necessary, along with the other components that I’ve mentioned. I’d recommend having the vehicle looked at by a qualified technician who will be able to diagnose these misfiring symptoms and fix it accordingly.

There is a shudder on take off and vibration while accelerating – 2013 Ford Focus
ANSWER : Hello there. Many possible faults can cause your 2013 Ford Focus to vibrate upon acceleration. From your description, it sounds like you are describing an engine misfire. Misfires can be caused by many issues, but the most common are spark plugs, coil, fuel pump, fuel injectors, MAF sensor, vacuum leaks, or a wiring harness fault.

A qualified technician, such as one from YourMechanic, will be able to diagnose your misfiring condition and make any repairs to get your vehicle running normally again.

Vehicle vibrates while accelerating and stops when you take your leg off the pedal or accelerate more
ANSWER : I suspect you have a problem in a CV joint, or if you have the all wheel drive version; in a drive shaft. The joints that enable the shafts to move around can wear out and when they do, they can produce a vibration at "resonate" speeds. There might be a vibration at 40 MPH that smooths out at 50 and then returns at 60. Or any other odd sounding pattern. You can have that conveniently checked out by contacting Your Mechanic. They can send a technician to your home or office who can check out your Toyota’s vibration and give you a more exact idea of what is the problem and what it will take to fix it.

Car not speeding up smoothly, service engine light on when first start driving and car vibrating
ANSWER : Hi There,
It sounds like you may have a dirty or faulty mass air flow sensor. The problem this can cause may also be compounded when the engine is cold due to the change in air density in cooler weather. The mass air flow sensor monitors air intake as it is mixed with fuel prior to being injected into the motor. This sensor relays information about fuel and air temperature, air speed entering the motor and many other things to the ECM which uses this to make adjustments to fuel supply to the motor. A dirty or faulty sensor can cause an imbalanced air/fuel load to be supplied to the motor which results in an over fueling or under fueling situation depending on the conditions. This type of inconsistent fuel supply to the motor may cause a hesitation, loss of power, a jerking reaction, potentially a bit of black exhaust smoke and typically a strong smell of fuel when this sensor is malfunctioning. I would suggest having a professional from Your Mechanic come to your home to diagnose and inspect your vehicle.

When stopped in Drive, the car vibrates. You can especially hear and feel the vibration mostly in the back of the car 2002 Infiniti I35
ANSWER : Hello – I would be suspicious of an exhaust system hanger which has gone weak, and is allowing the exhaust to bump into the chassis at an idle. It is also possible that the fuel pump is wearing out, and the "chattering" that a worn fuel pump makes is transmitted through the fuel tank into the car. It would be easier to notice at a stoplight, but fades while driving as other road noise increases. I recommend a vibration and noise inspection performed by a mobile, professional mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, who will come to your location, diagnose this problem, and give you an accurate assessment of damage and cost estimate for repairs.

The car accelerates slowly, hesitates and shudders
ANSWER : Unmetered air can cause this type of hesitation and shuddering. Too much air compared to fuel will cause a lean misfiring condition. Fault codes need to be read out of your Mercedes C320’s engine computer to see if there are any underlying issues and those issues are corrected.

The induction should be inspected and checked for vacuum leaks. Also, fuel pressure and volume should be checked as well if the induction system checks out okay. A partially clogged fuel filter can cause a starvation issue on heavy acceleration. You may want to enlist the help of a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, who will have the tools and expertise to conduct this type of diagnosis and repair for your acceleration issue.
